Trey Junkins is the Managing Partner of JW Accounting, LLC, which began serving its clients in November of 2010. Trey managed the practice himself for several years before starting to expand his team in 2021. His open door approach creates a down to earth and welcoming environment for clients.
Trey attended Western Michigan University and graduated with his BBA in 2012, then returned to complete his MBA in 2017. He was born and raised in Kalamazoo and still lives in the area with his family. He enjoys spending as much time as possible with his wife and their three boys. Besides hanging out with his family, Trey spends most of his free time playing, coaching, and watching sports. He especially loves playing golf and coaching multiple baseball teams throughout the year.

Melissa yost
Melissa joined JW Accounting in October of 2021 as an Accounting Manager, and is now the Director of Advisory Services. She had spent the previous five years as an accountant at a CPA firm in Portage, MI preparing taxes, bookkeeping, tax planning, payroll processing, and audit work. Melissa received her Master of Science in Accountancy in 2018 from Western Michigan University and is currently working towards her CPA license. Melissa has lived in the Kalamazoo area since 2004 and resides with her husband Alex and son Wyatt. She enjoys running, hunting and fishing, golfing, attending sporting events, camping and family walks with her son and two dogs, Maverick and Goose. Melissa is thrilled for the opportunity to make a difference at JW Accounting and to help clients reach their goals.
Becky Banaszak
Becky joined JW Accounting in July of 2021 to help lighten the workload of a growing business. As Payroll Coordinator, she handles the processing of payroll hours for all of JW’s payroll clients along with other administrative duties. Before joining JW Accounting, Becky was a Controller and a former business owner. She currently resides in Hickory Corners, MI with her husband Rob and enjoys reading, gardening, crafting, and spending time with her five beautiful grandchildren. Becky is excited to be working with Trey and his clients, providing a continuum of services in the accounting field.

Becky joined JW Accounting in July of 2021 to help handle the increase in clients and administrative tasks. As Client Relations Admin, she can be found juggling a variety of responsibilities ranging from scheduling to client account maintenance. In addition to working for JW Accounting, Becky also works for Majestic Financial as a Client Service Manager. She has lived most of her life in Schoolcraft, MI with her husband Darryl and enjoys spending time with her four sons and two lovely grandchildren whenever possible. Becky is excited to join the JW Accounting team and to continue making a positive impact in peoples lives.
Sara Blair
Sara joined JW Accounting in February of 2023 as a Staff Accountant. She previously worked as an Accounting Assistant with the 633 Group after finishing her Associates degree with honors in Accounting from Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Her dedication, attention to detail, and hunger for knowledge makes her a perfect addition to the JWA team. Sara is proud to be an animal from the Zoo and still resides in Kalamazoo with her daughter Summer. When she’s not hard at work, Sara enjoys reading, beach days, and riding bikes with her daughter. Sara is excited to continue her accounting career and make an impact at JWA.
Andrew Kubiak
JW Accounting welcomed Andrew to the family in February of 2022 to help out with the growing number of clients. He graduated from Otsego High School in 2021 and is currently attending Kalamazoo Valley Community College until he transfers to Grand Valley State University to finish his degree in either Statistics or Accounting. Andrew previously worked at HQ Flooring in Otsego for three years and as a landscaper at Otsego Public Schools for a year. In his free time he enjoys playing sports and video games and hanging with friends. Andrew was attracted to JW Accounting because of the friendliness of the staff and he's excited to be part of the family now.
